Developing suitable security policies

Security policies are the basis for implementing security initiatives in an organization. The CISO and the security team offer security leadership by developing security policies that are business-oriented and match the business goals. In addition, the developed security policies should not make the working environment more tedious for employees, as this could then contribute to making them resentful toward these policies and hence reduce the efficiency of the security policies in the long run.
