Producing Publication and Web-Ready Visualizations

Designing and producing publication-quality visualizations is a key task and one of the most rewarding things bioinformaticians gets to do with data. R is not short of excellent packages for creating graphics, that is, beyond the powerful base graphics system and ggplot2.
