Command assistance


A really useful feature within the Administrative console is the ability to turn on command assistance. When command assistance is turned on, configuration changes in the Administrative console are recorded and displayed within a link in the right-hand navigation panel of the console. You can then refer to the Jython recorded to understand what wsadmin command is used for a particular configuration change. It is also possible to turn on command logging, which will create a log file containing the recorded configuration changes. To turn on command assistance, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Console Preferences link located in the System administration section within the left-hand side navigation panel:
