The Dev Hub combines different tools that developers will enjoy. The Dev Hub is only available in Qlik Sense, so anyone who worked with QlikView in the past will find this a new and exciting topic.

Dev Hub allows developers to create and edit extensions, mashups, widgets, and convert QlikView documents into Qlik Sense documents. There is also an API explorer, which comes in very handy when creating extensions.

Contrary to other features in Qlik Sense, the Dev Hub is aimed at developers. This is the place where geeks can play and have fun. However, the content in this chapter is simple enough for everyone to follow.

In this chapter, I will not be covering the details of programming. You should have a very basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. But, don't worry! if you don't, I will make sure you understand everything here. This chapter is a good warm...
