In Part 1, Chapter 6, we already got to know the importance of Archicad attributes and how tools, tool settings, and view settings depend on them, but also how they depend on each other. We learned how complex and powerful attributes can be. In this section, we will further explore one of the most advanced types of attributes: Composites.
Composites can be used as a definition for four tools: the Wall, Slab, Roof, and Shell tools. Where a basic structure for these tools is just one material, a Composite is in essence a layered structure consisting of multiple Building Materials, functioning as Skins, separated by Lines, which are called Skin Separators.
