Next, we are going to add a new Base Flange to the model to create the enclosure's lid. This will turn the model into a multi-sheet part.

To add the lid, follow these steps:

1. First, we need to draw a profile for the new Base Flange. Start a sketch on the small upper face of the existing Miter Flange walls. Then use a Corner Rectangle to draw a rectangle that is slightly larger than the existing enclosure base all the way around (Figure 13.10):

2. Now, we can fix the sides of the rectangle to the sides of the base using Relations. This method takes slightly longer than just using a Center Rectangle and setting a size using Smart Dimension, but it means that if the size of the base changes later, the size of the lid will automatically update to match this.
