Creating hair particles that interact with physics

In this section, we will focus on creating hair particles and animating our character's hair using physics! Additionally, you will learn how to make other objects in your scene interact with the hair simulation. There are many different parameters when it comes to hair particle simulations, and we will probably not cover every single parameter in this book. But I will try my best to explain the most important parameters so that you will be able to create amazing-looking hair animations for your characters.

Try not to get overwhelmed with all the settings – focus on one parameter at a time and see how it affects your hair simulation. Please remember to save your project frequently, as working with physics simulations can quickly produce interesting or unwanted results. So, save often to prevent losing any work.
