To get the most out of this book

You will be expected to have some knowledge of Flutter and Dart but no knowledge of game development. The book does not teach either Flutter or Dart.

It's assumed that you have a good knowledge of your development tool of choice, such as Visual Studio Code.

If you are using the digital version of this book, we advise you to type the code yourself or access the code from the book's GitHub repository (a link is available in the next section). Doing so will help you avoid any potential errors related to the copying and pasting of code.

The code for the book was developed with Visual Studio Code but works equally well with Android Studio and other editors.
